6-13-2007

Man, this week has been busy. Haven't really gotten anything done either.

Diet and training report: Ate one bad meal over the weekend (Rosa's nachos) and this morning my weight is up 2 lbs. Not sure if this is just a levelling off point or what. I had been so excited about the scale dropping each day! I am a total scale junkie. Bad idea for me cuz I am apparently an estrogen-producing monster as well. I should probably go back and let Jody take a look at the bodyfat again instead of freaking out over the number on the scale.

The workout is still kicking my ass. Today is leg day. It's the toughest leg workout I have ever done. I will try to remember to post it so that I can look back on it fondly someday! On some level, I am glad its leg day. Firstly, because I know that lower body is such a weakness for me and I want and need to train it. Secondly, my upper body is screaming from monday and tuesday.

Training began on Tuesday for Texas State Championships. Well, that's not completely correct. Training began last October sometime but, there has been a switching of gears this week. Jody May-Saulsubury has taken on the arduous task of coaching/advising me regarding diet and workouts. The diet has been completely overhauled as well as the workout.

The workout is kicking my butt, seriously. Reps have increased substantially. Muscles are screaming. Feels really good though. I've lost somewhere between 5 and 8 pounds this week. Why the range? Because, as a woman, my weight fluctuated so much before this week that it was crazy. So, I started out somewhere between 157 and 160 with 14.9% bodyfat.
